“As you all know, I’ve been going through a lot this whole week,” Broner said. “For me to come in here and bottle everything up and to stay focused and get the job done, I want to give a pat on the back to myself because that’s a lot. But you all probably know about this: Somebody that I looked up to, somebody that I admired, took the chance to do an interview and talked all bad about me.
“Now, I don’t know how you all look at that, but I don’t like it. I wasn’t going to do this, but I’m a man that learns [expletive] from physical activity. Me and Floyd, he got to see me. He got to see me. I’m a man at teh end of the day. I’m a man at the end of the day. I come from the streets, the trenches, man. From the bottom from nothing. I’m talking about water and corn flakes. I come from nothing, and I will never let a man disrespect me like that. So he got to see me. I don’t care if we spar or if we fight. Let’s get it on.”
