This morning, entertainment news reports are saying that voluntary manslaughter charges have been dropped against the Atlanta strip club manager who was charged in the death of A.J. Jewell, former fiancé of “Real Housewives of Atlanta” cast member Kandi Burruss.

Jewell died on Oct. 2 following a fight with Frederick Richardson outside of the Body Tap club near downtown.

Atlanta Police said Jewell sustained a hard blow to the head and was beaten to death, but the autopsy indicates another cause of death – sickle cell anemia.

The initial findings from the autopsy gave Fulton County District Attorney Paul Howard reason to believe there’s nothing more to be found in conjunction with Jewell’s death.
