Rick Ross suddenly hi-jacked this week by releasing the surprisingly good “Foreclosures” and announcing Black Dollar, which will be released on Datpiff.com. The Bawse continues his comeback with “Money Dance,” which features The-Dream.
Ross’s track record with R&B collaborations has been mixed; Mastermind‘s “In Vein” was only notable for how out-of-sync The Weeknd and Ross were. “Money Dance” is notable for its decadence. It’s a seven-and-a-half minute track in which Ross floats over a lush piano sample. The whole thing sounds like rich leather, and The-Dream sounds good good, too.
Speaking of The-Dream, there hasn’t been any updates on what’s going on with his sixth album Crown Jewel. The release date has been in limbo since he and Capitol Record split ways. Hopefully, the album sees the light of day soon.
