Mourners Gather In Bangkok Over Shrine Bombing, Suspect Caught On Camera

At least 20 people were killed and over 120 were left injured from the explosion that was set off at Bangkok’s Erawan Hindu shrine on Monday. Now footage just before the incident reveals a man in a yellow shirt leaving behind a backpack at the explosion site; there was a separate bombing the following day at a pier in Bangkok as well, but no one was hurt. Foreigners from China, Hong Kong, the UK, Indonesia, Malaysia and Singapore were among those murdered in the explosion. As authorities are searching for the culprit, there’s been increased security at public transportation spots and popular tourist areas. It is believed that the bombing suspect isn’t Thai. It has also been noted that the method of the bombing is different than those committed against Thai perpetrators in the past. Read more at BBC News.
