The XXL Freshman list is always a huge conversation piece in the rap world, and this year should be no different. While the wait has seemed a little longer than usual, the full list and cover has now been revealed.
This year’s picks are a little less controversial than usual, as the heavy-hitters seem to be represented for the most part. Of course, we were expecting to see Fetty Wap and Dej Loaf, who are meticulously placed at the front of the crew in the photo. The more surprising choices are Goldlink, Kidd Kidd (the fan vote) and Raury (who is hilariously wearing an “industry plant” t-shirt).
