10 – “The Bounty Hunter,” $3.2 million.

It was a close box office finish this week, with the #1 spot decided by a slim margin between two films — the animated adventure “How to Train Your Dragon” and the superhero comedy “Kick-Ass.”

In the end, “Kick-Ass” wasn’t able to kick “HOw to Train Your Dragon” from the top spot in its fourth weekend in theaters. It raked in $20 million, while “Kick-Ass” debuted with $19.75 million.

The previous weekend, Tina Fey and Steve Carell’s “Date Night” edged out “Clash of the Titans” by a close earnings total.

“I’ve never seen two weeks in a row like this where the top movies could easily flip-flop,” Paul Dergarabedian, box-office analyst for Hollywood.com, told the Associated Press.

“Kick-Ass” was still the top earning debut this weekend. It features Aaron Johnson as a teen comic-book geek who becomes a self-proclaimed superhero, eventually teaming up with a vigilante dad (Nicolas Cage) and his 11-year-old daughter (Chloe Grace Moretz).

After debuting at #1 last weekend, “Date Night” landed at #3 with $17.3 million, while Sony’s comedy “Death at a Funeral” debuted at a close #4 with $17 million.

“Death at a Funeral” features Chris Rock, Martin Lawrence and Tracy Morgan in a romp about an extended family gathering to bury its patriarch.

“Clash of the Titans” closes out the top 5 with $15.7 million.

That wraps things up this weekend. Next weekend, look out for the Jennifer Lopez romantic comedy “The Back-Up Plan,” the action flick “The Losers,” the release of the documentary “Oceans.”
