Scaff Beezy Posts & Deletes Tweet About Missing Nicki Minaj

It seemed for a while that Scaff Beezy and Nicki Minaj had moved on, as she’s been seen getting her flirt on with Meek Mill and Scaff has been seen out and about with beautiful model Candice Brook. However, after being together for over a decade, it’s to be expected that they will still have feelings for one another.

SB decide to let his Twitter fam know that he missed Nicki, even after addressing her calling him corny on The Breakfast Club. Scaff posted the tweet and immediately deleted it when fans began spreading it around and tagging Nicki.

Birdman Reportedly “Pissed” at Lil Wayne for Mixtape Disses

While much of Hip Hop is still in shock that Lil Wayne and long time mentor Birdman are at odds, Weezy had no problem airing their dirty laundry on his latest mixtape, Sorry 4 the Wait 2.

According to TMZ, Birdman is “pissed” with Wayne for calling him out publicly on the tape and is more determined than ever to drop “The Carter V” whenever he pleases, not under pressure from Tunechi or his fans.

Some of the lines Baby has a problem with include these from “Coco.”

“Who kept this sh*t together? N****, me, that’s who

Who was there when n**** left? N****, me, that’s who

Cash Money is an army, I’m a one man army

And if them n***** comin’ for me, I’m goin’ out like Tony

Now I don’t want no problems, I just want my money

Ain’t gotta hold no conversation or my luggage

Tell whoever’s countin’ that I’m on a hundred

Birdman Jr., more like Ugly Duckling”

Wayne also appears to reference Baby with this line on the same song:

“It’s compensation over conversation / Lord I must got blurry vision, a n****s got two faces.”

The “Empire” Expands! The Fox Hip-Hop Drama Pulls In Shocking Ratings

We just can’t get enough of Cookie! Fox’s Empire, living up to its title, has dominated Wednesday night viewing with stellar ratings — again! Almost 11 million viewers tuned in to the hip-hop drama, an eight percent increase from the previous episode.

“This just doesn’t … hardly … ever … happen,” Entertainment Weekly said in awe, adding that Empire has already shocked the industry enough when its numbers skyrocketed in week two after a solid premiere.

Empire, which pulled in an impressive 4.3 rating among the 18-49 adult demographic, might have its lead-in — American Idol – to thank for its climbing success, EW said.

Also, Empire‘s biggest competitors in the hour — ABC’s Black-ish and Modern Family — were both showing repeat episodes, which may have helped Empire’s numbers, as well. Despite these mitigating factors, the show remarkably defied a popular trend that usually plagues all TV dramas:

“The typical pattern is a show’s highest-rated episode of the season is its premiere, then ratings drop for two weeks and then (hopefully) settle into a groove for the rest of the season, rising somewhat for the season finale. Empire has done the opposite. The midseason drama premiered big. Got bigger. Then got bigger again,” EW said.

Empire‘s premiere pulled in 9.9 million, the second episode reached 10.3 million and Wednesday’s third show reeled in 10.9 million, Variety reported. From the pilot to the third episode, Empire’s audience grew by 13 percent.

Fox was so enamored by Empire‘s performance, the network agreed to sign the hip-hop drama up for a season two renewal.

You’d be surprised to know that Taraji P. Henson, who plays Cookie — a parolee mom who seems to have a lot up her sleeves — initially said “no” to Empire.

“I wasn’t interested ’cause I had just left television,” the former Person of Interest co-star told Access Hollywood. “Actually, I was doing a play at the time. I was happy on the stage. I was really happy and one day I came home and I read [the script] and I couldn’t put it down. I just could not put it down. It was an amazing read, and I was like ‘Oh My God!’”

Well, you made a wise choice Miss Henson. We can’t wait to see how Empire expands in the coming weeks.

STARZ DEBUTS “POWER” SEASON TWO TRAILER

While FOX continues to celebrate the success of “Empire,” 50 Cent is apparently still concerned that the series will somehow steal the thunder of “Power,” the exciting STARZ series which the rapper is the executive producer for. So, in an apparent attempt to ensure that we don’t forget about Ghost and the gang while we’re indulging in Luscious Lyon’s family drama, the cable network has released a rather telling trailer about the upcoming season of “Power.” Although, the season that won’t premiere until this summer.

That being said, the season looks like it’s going to be awesome and so much is going to hit the fan, from Ghost’s affair with Angela to Angela’s identity as a federal prosecutor finally being blown. Check out the full season two synopsis below.

“Season two will pick up where it left off: James ‘Ghost’ St. Patrick doubling down on his drug business to save his nightclub and dream of a legitimate future. Ghost’s work troubles pale in comparison to juggling his relationship with his wife, Tasha, and his first love Angela, who’s also an Assistant US Attorney investigating his drug organization.

Ghost is set further back from his dream by his business partner, Tommy, who loves the drug game, and his former mentor, Kanan, fresh out of jail, and looking for revenge. Season two has Ghost in a race against himself: Can he get out of the drug game alive before Angela discovers who he is?
