Drake in GQ - Attachment You don’t get awarded trophies for stealing lyrics Drizzy! Young Money’s Drake is accused of jacking and lying on the album that he received permission. The song “Pound Cake” has a 30second monologue on the intro and its FIRE! Yet it stems from a jazz musician, Jimmy Smith. He has since passed but his estate is after Drake to get that dough! They say he never received permission to use the lyrics. They also filed a lawsuit against Cash Money for more than $300,000.
