Despite garnering some lackluster reviews from critics, the 2010 re-make of “Clash of the Titans” was the biggest movie at this weekend’s box office, beating out Tyler Perry’s “Why Did I Get Married Too?” and Miley Cyrus’ “The Last Song”.

“Clash,” which is the re-make of the 1981 ancient Greek action film of the same title, raked in $61.4 in its opening weekend. But, if you add in Thursday night preview screenings, it actually did $64.1 million.

The film stars Sam Worthington as demigod hero Perseus and Liam Neeson as his dad, Zeus, king of the Olympian deities.

Debuting at #2 was the sequel “Tyler Perry’s Why Did I Get Married Too?”, which reunites filmmaker Perry with Janet Jackson and other co-stars for another comic drama about eight friends and their relationships. It pulled in $30.2 million.

Next was the previous weekend’s top movie, “How to Train Your Dragon,” which lands close behind at #3 with $29.2 million, taking its total to $92.3 million.

Miley Cyrus’ teen drama, “The Last Song”, lands at #4 with $16.2 million; and closing out the top five is “Alice In Wonderland”, taking its total to $309.8 million after selling $8.3 million in tickets this weekend.

That wraps things up this weekend. Next weekend, look out for the Steve Carell comedy “Date Night.”
