TMZ.com reports that multiple unnamed sources say Michael Jackson’s physician, Dr. Conrad Murray, who has pleaded not guilty to charges of manslaughter in the singer’s death, will present a legal defense that claims Jackson injected himself with the fatal dose of Propofol after suddenly awakening while the doctor was in the bathroom. Murray’s lawyer, Ed Chernoff, could not be reached for comment, but a rep for Murray reportedly told Access Hollywood in a statement on Sunday: “We only know [that information] didn’t come from Ed [Chernoff] who has the final word.”

Several of Jackon’s family members are expected in court tomorrow for a procedural hearing that will set a judge for the case and set a preliminary hearing date. The hearing will also address a medical board request to revoke Murray’s license.
