Katt Williams was taken into custody Tuesday outside of his home in Los Angeles after a Sacramento judge issued a bench warrant for his arrest for missing a court date there.His bail was set at $100,500. The arrest stemmed from a bizarre episode in November 2012, when Katt led Sacramento police on a wild chase while riding a three-wheeled motorcycle. Officials say he nearly hit five people during the chase.
Police suspended the chase for safety reasons, but Katt was later charged with charged with evading a police officer while driving recklessly, a felony. He was finally arrested on December 7 in Dunnigan, Calif. He bailed out of jail the following day and was scheduled to be back in a Sacramento court on Monday.
