President Barack Obama made a few comments about pop culture phenom, Kanye West recently at a fundraiser in New York City. He said something to the effect of, although he likes the intelligent Chicago-born and bred rapper, he still thinks West is a “jack*ass.”
David Samuels of The Atlantic was able to ask President Obama one question and it was, Jay-Z or Kanye West? Our president responded as if it was a no brainer, “Jay-Z.” He then went on to elaborate, “Although I like Kanye,” Obama continues, with an easy smile. “He’s a Chicago guy. Smart. He’s very talented. He is a jackass. But he is talented.”
If we remember correctly, President Obama’s always had some disdain for Kim Kardashian’s new boyfriend. Back when Kanye ruined Taylor Swift’s acceptance speech with jibberiish about Beyonce being the greatest of all time, the POTUS felt Kanye was in the wrong. He said in an interview with CNBC right after the awards show, “The young lady seems like a perfectly nice person. She’s getting her award. What’s he doing up there? He’s a jack*ss.”
Wow, to be known by the President of the United States as a jack*ass has got to be a bit humbling, even for Yeezy.
