It’s one step forward, two steps back for DMX. The Yonkers rapper is being sued by a booking agency for a planned tour that never came to fruition because of DMX’s legal trouble. TMZ reports Heavy Rotation Booking Agency is taking X to court for $630,000. Court documents filed by the company claim they entered into an exclusive deal with DMX to book all of his shows anywhere in the world. DMX and Heavy Rotation’s agreement was to last for a full year, which X agreed upon in 2011.

After forging a relationship with Heavy Rotation, DMX was bogged down by legal trouble. He was popped for a traffic violation in August of 2011 and fought two child support cases. Because of the child support cases, a lien was put on the “How It’s Goin’ Down” rapper’s passport. That lien prevented DMX from performing overseas. The booking agency says they jumped through a plethora of hoops to help DMX solve his legal problems to no avail. They claim the troubled rapper continued to cause more issues for himself and Heavy Rotation, which forced them to cancel all of DMX’s performances.
