Incarcerated rapper B.G. is facing as many as 40 years in prison following his guilty plea to gun and witness tampering charges. On yesterday (December 7), the former Cash Money Records star pleaded guilty to being a felon in possession of a firearm and witness tampering charges. Prosecutors did not offer the rapper, born Christopher Dorsey, any plea deal.

Several guns were confiscated from what turned out to be a stolen vehicle during a traffic stop in November 2009. 27-year-old Jerod Fedison and 17-year-old Demounde Pollard were also charged in the case.

Authorities claim that B.G. and Fedison, who are both convicted felons, attempted to pressure Pollard into taking the gun charges; this led to the witness tampering charges.

B.G. could receive up to 40 years when he is sentenced on March 14.
