Convicted Drug Dealer Tries To Use EBT Card To Post Bail

Convicted drug dealer Kimball Clark, 45, was arrested for new drug-related charges and attempted to use cash from his EBT card to post bail, reports the Boston Herald.

Police officers overheard him using his one phone call to ask an unidentified person to “get my EBT card and go to the ATM and get the money to bail me out, get me outta here tonight,” according to the police report.

Conservatives, such as state Rep. Shaunna O’Connell, have longed attempted to minimize welfare abuse — with heavy pushback from colleagues — and she feels vindicated by Clark’s actions:

It’s another outrage,” she said, “When we were on the EBT Card Commission, I fought to get bail bondsmen on that list of places where people could not use their EBT cards. They fought me on it and told me people can’t use their EBT cards in that way.”

Other uses of the card, according to O’Connell, include alcohol, cigarettes and lotto tickets and she blames the Department of Transitional Assistance for the lapse of oversight:

Obviously the [DTA] has no idea how people use these cards and how the cards work,” O’Connell said.

Lil Boosie Sentenced To 8 Years In Prison

Sad new for rapper Lil Boosie today.Everyone has been waiting on this trial for nearly four years and today was the day Torrance Hatch, better known as Lil Boosie went to court for his sentencing. Investigators had accused him of trying to smuggle drugs once into Dixon Correctional Facility, and twice into Angola State Penitentiary.

Well earlier today Boosie pleaded guilty to charges of him smuggling contraband into two different prisons he was held in while awaiting trial on murder charges. He was sentenced to eight years hard labor for the charges, with credit for time served.

Actress Lindsay Lohan is back in the headlines for all the wrong reasons once again. The young star has had her share of negative publicity before, during and after her brief prison sentence, but it looks like she isn’t completely in the clear just yet.

Having violated a judge’s court order in Los Angeles, CA, Lohan reportedly could be facing a second ordeal behind bars. Why? She’s supposed to be seeing a psychologist at least once a week, but after reports surfaced that she just couldn’t afford it she decided to skip out on it altogether.

Big Boi Gets Off Easy with Court Ordered Community Service and Charity Donation

Big Boi, born Antwan Patton, avoided jail time Thursday by coming to an agreement with the court on his Florida drug charges.

Prosecutors came to agreement which included 3 months of drug testing, community services, and a $2,000 donation to charity.

The 36 year old rapper was arrested getting off a cruise ship back in August when a K-9 dog alerted cops to drugs Big Boi was carrying. The drugs included ecstasy, a cigarette roller with marijuana residue and the ecstasy ingredient MDMA.

Big Boi had faced two felony drug charges. Prosecutors say if he remains drug-free after three months of testing, those charges will be dismissed.

Hopefully he can be kool, lay low, and NOT pull a T.I.

The rapper was arrested last year for attempting to sneak a firearm past security at Raleigh-Durham International Airport. The gun had been reported as stolen back in 2005. A few weeks ago, Pablo discussed his possible incarceration.

“I mean, I always feel confident,” he told HipHopDX. “In the end, the truth always comes to the light. And, regardless of what the outcome is, I’m a man. And whatever has been written in my book of life is written in my book of life. So whatever the outcome of any situation is, I have no choice but to handle it.”

5 Ways T.I. Can Stay Out Of Jail

T.I., has been released from jail for what we hope is the last time. But we also hoped he would stay out after he was released in 2010 and again in August 2011. So instead of just hoping for Tip to stay out of trouble, here are five things we think he can do to stay out of the bing.

Give Him More Guns
In 2007, T.I. was arrested by the feds and charged with two felonies for possession of three unregistered machine guns and two silencers. He was eventually sentenced, and since he was packing so much heat, we can’t help but think that Tip just likes guns. Instead of denying his appetite for weapons, we think it would be a great idea to give him an arsenal of paintball guns, Laser Tag games and Super Soakers to jones on.

Hypnotize Him
If we could hypnotize T.I., we would! While under our mind control we would make him think he’s bulletproof so that he would never feel the need to get guns. We’d just tell him the bulletproof vest is decorative, just ask 50 Cent.

Hire A Reliable Weed Carrier

One of the last times T.I. was arrested he was out making a run for ecstasy and marijuana with the Mrs in his Maybach. This is a baller no-no. No person of his means should be out getting their own stash, especially in a car that costs more than a house. If you can’t find someone to run this errand there needs to be a Mr. Nice Guy franchise started in ATL stat.

Move to Switzerland

The Swiss may have this whole gun thing figured out. While they have no standing army, Swiss men are trained as part of their militia and can keep an automatic weapon in the home. Damn near everyone is strapped so no one is thinking of running up in the next man’s house. As a result, the rate of killings or attempted killings with firearms is about 1 in 250, 000. In Atlanta metro (which is comparable in population to Switzerland) it’s about 34 per 200,000. Not to mention no bank is safer for stashing all of that Paper Trail money.

Do Like Jay-Z & Kanye West

T.I. may need to surround himself with a more positive and uplifting circle. We suggest he link up with his name-a-like Q-Tip, not only for a potential collabo, but for overall positivity. Notice how ‘Ye has stayed out of trouble since he’s been working closely with Jay on Watch The Throne? We think the same could happen for T.I.! His first single with The Abstract could be a club banger called “Just The Tip.”

Gucci Mane Headed Back to Jail?

Word on the street is Gucci Mane has gotten himself into quite a bit of trouble all over again. This time, he’s potentially headed back behind bars after authorities down in Atlanta have confirmed that Gucci Mane (born Radric Davis) is going back to jail for six months. Moments ago, he pled guilty to battery and other charges. Is going to jail, being released and then returning to jail becoming a trend for Hip Hop’s new generation? It appears to be that way, but why?

This latest incident stems back to January 28th when Gucci pushed a female out of his Hummer. We thought he’d learned his lesson the first time around, but apparently not.
