Are you ready for a Guccimane and Waka Album? Well get ready because word has it that its’s on the way. The Tittle is called “The Ferrari Boys” set to drop this spring.

‘Ferrari,’ which boasts production from Shawty Redd, Drumma Boy, FATBOI and Schife, is set to include 20 tracks and equally showcase each spitter’s abilities. “This album is gonna be the hardest album of the year,” Gucci told Billboard.com. “The songs are so clever, the beats are so slammin’, and the lyrics are just so aggressive. There’s so much energy that we bring to the studio. Nobody’s gonna be able to top this album that me and Waka are coming out with.” Via:Drewreports.com

Bricksquad member Waka Flocka Flame was asked bout his friend and boss Gucci Mane. He was asked about the Ice Cream Burr tattoo that Gucci recently got tattooed on his face.
“Like I just said, eh, we some wild dudes, [laughs]” Waka told radio host Bootleg Kev when asked about Gucci Mane’s ice cream face tattoo. “Ain’t no telling what [we] gonna do, man. [laughs] Nah, [no Fozzy Bear on my face]. Never. I ain’t touching my face.”

Gucci Mane has had another yet another run in with the law today.

According to a report by Access Atlanta the rapper is charged with driving on the wrong side of the road, running a red light or stop sign, damage to government property, obstruction, no license, no proof of insurance and other traffic charges.

Police had to use pepper spray on Gucci in order to subdue him. After his arrest he was first taken to a local hospital before heading to jail.

Following his release from prison in May for violating his parole, Gucci promised to turn his life around, but it seems he may be having a hard time doing that.

Earlier this year you were the victim of a shooting. How do you explain that incident to your younger fans who may be more impressionable?

Sometimes I get kids telling me about being shot and messing with guns but I tell them every time that s*** ain’t cool. Ain’t nothing cool about shooting anybody.

Your music, though, sometimes paints a different picture.

If somebody tries to take your life, you might have to take his to survive. That’s in the Bible. If a man comes at me with a sword, you defend yourself with a sword. And if he comes at you with something else, you gotta defend yourself with that… I’m not condoning any violence but I’m about reality, bro.

There was also incident that was captured on WorldStarHipHop.com where some dudes ran up on you at a video shoot.

Let me make it clear, that was some dudes trying to get free promotion. I ain’t trippin’ on that stuff anymore. I’m good, bro. There’s always a******* in life. Certain people just feel like that’s their niche. I ain’t worried about no critics. I’m only worried about what my fans think. A critic is in the category of a hater in a high position.

Your mother Debra Antney was managing both Gucci and Nicki Minaj at one point in time, but was she always supportive of your career?

My mom was always there for me. She’s a real understanding person, but it was always about tough love. You can’t get no tighter than family. But when it’s business, I’m not her son. There’s no special treatment or anything. When I wasn’t working, she wasn’t even f*****’ with me in music. [Laughs]. I had to put in work to get her attention. She told me she wasn’t putting money into a street dude. So I had to change up my plans.

Do you know why Gucci and Nicki decided to part ways with your mom?

I can say when you start getting hot, there are a lot of people that get in your ear. I call that the devil. It’ll turn you against the people that helped you. They must have just felt like they needed a change. Maybe they felt like other people can take their career somewhere else. I don’t know. Just like LeBron going to the Heat. I ain’t mad, though, or got problems with anybody. Moms is good; her bills are paid.

Has the split affected your relationship with Gucci?

Yeah, all the way… All the way. I ain’t got beef or anything but it has changed.

So what’s your relationship like now?

There is none. We don’t talk anymore.

What about with Nicki?

Nicki is still my homey, though. I got her number and can call her whenever. My momma ain’t got no problems with her or anything either. Let’s make that clear.

Unfortunately, my incarceration also came at a pivotal point in my career, just as my first major label album was dropping. I was forced to miss what should have been one of the proudest moments of my life. This is something that I will make sure never happens again. My jail time was trying, but I grew from it and am now a stronger and better person. I want to continue on a positive track and truly focus on being a role model to my fans and my community. I am looking towards the future with a new found respect and appreciation for the law and a strong dedication to my music and my career.

The countdown begins. Monday (May 3) Hot 97 personality Angie Martinez announced that Gucci Mane is expected to be released from Fulton County Jail next Wednesday, May 12.

As previously reported, the Atlanta rapper was sent to prison last November for violating the terms of his probation, stemming from a 2005 assault charge. Many speculated the rapper would only serve six months of his year-long sentence and that now looks to be true.

Gooch will be touching down just in time to perform at this year’s annual star-studded Summer Jam concert on June 6. One week earlier, on Friday, May 28, the ATLien and his 1017 Brick Squad will host a party at Miami’s King of Diamonds Gentlemen’s Club.

ATLANTA – This was supposed to be Gucci Mane’s time to finally gain mainstream appeal, as he collaborated with Mariah Carey, Mario and Usher while churning out street anthems like “Wasted” and “Go Head,” featuring Man Bre-Z.
But now he’s found himself trying to figure out his next career move behind bars.

In a telephone interview from the Fulton County Jail in Atlanta, Gucci Mane talked about how he’s been more “at peace” during his jail stint, how miserable he felt on the day after his album release and how he’s been a mentor to other inmates.

The Associated Press: You were featured on Carey’s “Obsessed” and had the hit “Break Up” with Mario and Sean Garrett, as well as the single “Spotlight” featuring Usher. How did it feel to finally breakthrough?

Gucci Mane: It felt good to finally be noticed and get some kind of acclaim. This is by far the most praise I’ve ever gotten. It feels like all my hard work is getting recognized. It makes me work even harder.

AP: How did it feel to have your album top the charts while in jail?

Gucci Mane: Excited. I still had a release party, though I wasn’t there. But the day after was the toughest because I just wanted to get out there to see my fans. … Getting on stage, it’s nothing like it.

AP: Gucci, you’ve been to jail on a few other occasions. How can you avoid being sent back again?

Gucci Mane: Before I make an action, think about the consequences. … Any decision I make is a heavy decision. I got a lot of people who depend on me. Everything I do has so much weight on it.

AP: How do the other inmates treat you in jail?

Gucci Mane: It’s a great response. … So I try to take a couple of these young guys under my wing and tell them what I’ve learned, because you can’t teach nobody if you don’t know anything.

AP: Rappers who have been jailed in the past like Tupac has said it was difficult to jot down lyrics while in prison. How has writing songs been for you?

Gucci Mane: Unfortunately I’ve been to jail a couple times. Anytime I come in it’s difficult to make music, write songs. This time, I have a peace within me. I’ve been so excited to get out. I’ve written about 50 to 60 songs.

AP: How much has your jail time been a setback on your career, which was at the peak?

Gucci Mane: With money and selling CDs, I can always do that. I believe I can make all the money I’ve missed the last six months. But I can’t regain the time with fans and family.

Although he is currently locked up, Gucci Mane recently put rumors that he violated his probation by using cocaine to rest. According to Gucci, who is locked up for a one-year jail sentence, he has no history of using that drug. ”My urinalysis was from, like, six months ago,” he said in an interview. “I think it was for marijuana. But it definitely wasn’t from cocaine. I have never used cocaine. That’s just not true. Then I stopped smoking and stopped drinking.” “For the last six months, I haven’t used any drugs, and I will continue to claim sobriety. That’s why I said that at the BET Awards and made that PSA. Because that’s something I took to and made a part of my life. So even when I do get out of here, I plan on continuing that, and I’m proud of myself for that. That gave me peace, even in the situation I’m in now. I know you have to be optimistic.
