For the ladies who love Jaheim, thank you for not trampling the man and his four background singers this weekend.
For those of who you might not have been hanging out down in the pit near the edge of the stage and may have missed the stampede, it was truly an experience we were so anxious about as R&B music star Jaheim took a stroll through the crowd during his performance on Friday night. The ladies went nuts as soon as he decided to hit the main floor of the Paul Brown Stadium and so did both the event security and stage managers.
Jaheim delivered in his smoothed out, nonchalant manner of performing for just over 40 minutes on Friday as one of the headliners of the 2010 Macy’s Music Festival. Spanning through his ghetto love themed hits, Jaheim is one of those artists who’s stage presence is one part mesmerizing for the ladies and one part sleeper for folks who aren’t quite familiar with his simplistic style. He’s not an artist who runs across the stage with tons of lights, noise and energy, nor does he just stand there to sing the song. Instead, he literally goes some place else to execute those tunes we’ve come to know and love.
