R&B singer/songwriter Cheri Dennis is beginning to pop on the radar lately as she is reportedly ready for her musical return after a brief hiatus. You remember her right? She’s that adorable slim and slender songstress we were extremely hopeful for just a few years ago when her album “In and Out of Love,” which dropped back in 2007 on Bad Boy. So maybe that’s why we haven’t heard much from her lately.
Anyway, back to the topic at hand. The Cleveland native recently performed live in a guest appearance at Christian Rich’s concert at Southpaw in Brooklyn this week. The petite star has a new look with a funky razor sharp Smurf-blue hair cut and ironically, she’s actually rocking the futuristic do quite well.

She still sounds great to be totally honest and I hope she’s planning something special for her next project. According to our friends at Singersroom.com, Cheri is finally stepping into her own as she said from the stage, “I know I probably look a little different than some of you are used to – but this is the real Cheri Dennis.”
