Music and entertainment news abounds this week with updates from the hottest music event to round out our winter blues. Word on the street is BET (Black Entertainment Television) is about to take the show on the road just in time to participate in the South by Southwest Music and Media Conference (SXSW).
Two really cool programs will launch this week on Thursday, March 17th as the “Baby I’m a Star!” panel examines how to get major exposure in this ever-changing multi-platform media environment. After up-and-comers are informed, equipped and inspired this week, they’ll have the chance to check out the launch of another huge entertainment endeavor that will soon make its way across the nation.
Yes, we’re referring to none other than the exciting BET Music Matters showcase and tour launch with scheduled appearances from buzzworthy R&B/Hip Hop artists such as B.O.B., J. Cole, Marsha Ambrosius, Miguel, Melanie Fiona, Big Sean and Dom Kennedy. The series of intimate shows kicks off in just 24 hours in Dallas, TX.
