Producer Alex Da Kid is now officially signed to Interscope Records. Industry reps say he’s finally inked a deal with the imprint, which also brings his own label, KIDinaKORNER. Alex is best known for crafting a series of chart-topping singles and hits like Eminem and Rihanna’s “Love the Way You Lie,” B.o.B.’s “Airplanes,” and Dr. Dre’s “I Need a Doctor.”
The first release from the newly announced deal will be singer Skylar Grey. You’ll recall her singing ability most recently as she was the vocalist featured on the aforementioned Dr. Dre track.
