Happy Birthday Mariah Carey! Yesterday the song bird turned 41 (we think) and this was a day she will never forget. Miss Mariah began her birthday celebration in a bit of pain. Not to worry mommy’s doing just fine. She was taken to the hospital to check on her twins after experiencing belly aches. While she began to dream about eating cake, and being surrounded by her loved ones singing happy birthday the sharp pains became more frequent. After she was examined by her doctor they discovered the irritation was simply Braxton hicks. It’s to be expected since she is due to give birth to a baby boy and girl this spring
Mariah tweeted “So dem babies really wanted 2 celebrate w/us/share the anniversary! I started having contractions last night..went 2 the hospital. Finally they said I could come home after they got it under control (sic),”
“But they almost came on 3/27- happy anniversary in deed. We have a few more weeks 2 go but- wow (sic),” she added.
Mi Mi has since returned home and is resting comfortably with her anxiously awaiting husband Nick Cannon. The twins may arrive earlier than expected. We’ll just have to wait and see. The babies are due to enter the world in exactly two weeks.
Nick Cannon can shake off his fear for now… He tweeted “I am probably going to faint in the delivery room!” the 30-year-old musician tweeted on Thursday. “I need to man up! Or maybe I should say WOMAN UP since they are the ones that have to be the strongest in the whole ordeal! I am in awe of my wife!”
