Inspired by Grandmaster DST, DJ Diamond started his DJing journey in 1990. Practicing on his mother’s record player, he practiced until performing at private parties and weddings. After many gigs, Diamond landed two endorsement deals with Subway and T-Mobile, then he bumped into DJ Skillz at a record store…Skillz asked for some sample mixes, and before Diamond knew it, he had his own mix show during the weekday drive at 5, and Friday nights at The WIZ. His journey does not stop here – it will go above and beyond…as he says “I break records, you just play them”. You can hear DJ Diamond on the Drive at 5 with DJ Skillz, every Monday – Friday to get you through that traffic jam!

The NOC stands for the “Number One Contender”. By ways of VA beach the NOC grew up in Cincinnati, Ohio where his love for music began and developed. Son of a musician he gained a keen ear and respect for music. His teenage years were filled with creating music and writing lyrics. His first two years of college he shared his love of music with everyone through his campus radio show, “The Lex-Cin Show”. After transferring to UC, lady luck placed him in an internship, and then on-air position at 101.1 The WIZ.

I found my way to 101.1 The WIZ as an on-air personality and eventually finding my niche as Morning Show Producer of the Russ Parr Morning Show. My career in the Radio industry has spanned for nearly 8yrs. In pursuit of staying connected to the Cincinnati community I actively participate in various non-profit based organizations including. I assist in delivering warm healthy meals to senior citizens that may not have family or friends available. As the needs of the community grow, so does my commitment to serve them. You can hear me on-air on every Sunday co-hosting “Straight Talk Live” with Nathan Ive from 8am – 10pm, and Sunday’s 10am – 1pm.

I’m a 24 year-old DJ in Cincinnati, Ohio who graduated from the Ohio Center of Broadcasting. From the Beastie Boys to Run DMC to LL Cool J, hip hop became a huge part of my life, so I absolutely love my job….and couldn’t be happy doing anything else. I’m on-air with The WIZ as well as producing many award winning commercials and mix tapes you may or may not have heard. I also do voice work so ill be heard at mycrazyvideos.com. I’m a beast! Born in Oklahoma & raised in Cincinnati, Ohio, I have always dreamed big! I attended Hughes HS and graduated from The Ohio State University, with a BA in Communications. I fell in love with music at the age of 7, sitting in front of my mother’s stereo, listening to Mary J. Blige’s first album: What’s the 411? I cannot go a day without music! I am privileged to have been with Radio One 3 years. I am constantly learning and growing. I cannot wait to see where radio takes me in my professional career. Thank God for music!

Hailing from the sunny state of California, Dimepiece came to Nashville, Tennessee to pursue her college career at Fisk University. Always desiring to get into radio, Dimepiece began interning at the University’s radio station, 88.1 WFSK to interning at Blazin 106.7 to landing a part time position as an on-air personality/DJ. She joined Huntsville, Alabama’s number one hip hop and R&B station, Power 93.3 in 2004. She is now spinning at 101.1 The WIZ Monday thru Friday from 10pm-2am on her specialty show, “Dime Time Radio”.

DJ Skillz started DJing in 1992, inspired by DJs like Kool Herc, Grandmaster Flash, and Kid Capri. Skillz persistence and dedication paid off, as jobs rolled in at Cincinnati’s major night clubs. The opportunity of a lifetime presented itself when G-Fresh called one late night offering Skillz his first job in radio. Skillz became a Mixshow DJ/On-Air Personality on Cincinnati’s community radio station WAIF-FM. Skillz held down the underground hip-hop show every week for 4 years. Skillz then moved across town to The WIZ replacing syndicated mixshows. Skillz has been rocking the air waves in Cincinnati for 13 years.
