Love & Hip Hop became a hit VH1 reality TV show last spring when it aired March 14th. Quite naturally it is filled with relationship drama, girl fights, fashion and of course Hip Hop. It stars Jim Jones, Chrissy Lampkin, Olivia (former G-Unit), Emily (mother of Fabolous’ son), Nancy Jones (Jim Jones’ mother), Somaya Reece, Kimbella (mother of Juelz Santana’s son), Yandy (Jim Jones manager), with supporting cast from Mashonda (ex-wife of Swizz Beatz) and more!
As you can imagine with so many celebrity personalities egos are bound to get in the way. Last season we left off with an inconclusive marriage proposal Chrissy gave “Jimmy”, Somaya’s rapping career was still hanging in the balance, Emily vowed to move on from “Fab”, and Olivia seemed to be on the right track to getting her career back as a solo artist. The conflict that kept us in suspense had to be Nancy’s discontent with Chrissy. They nearly argued every episode over their rightful place in Jim Jones’ life. Both ladies demand his attention and he really doesn’t seem to know how to accommodate them.
