This just goes to show you how ignorant some people can be. Do we not think before we speak anymore?

While on Fox News Channel’s “Fox and Friends” Monday morning Hank Williams Jr made some pretty controversial comments about our country’s leader, comparing President Obama to Adolf Hitler. Williams said that he thought Speaker of the House John Boehner playing golf with President Obama “would be like Hitler playing golf with (Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin) Netanyahu.”

HERE’S THE ACTUAL FOOTAGE FROM MONDAY MORNING’S SHOW

Now, Hank Williams Jr’s song “All My Rowdy Friends” has been the Monday Night Football theme for ABC and ESPN since 1991. When ESPN caught wind of the comments they released this statement,”While Hank Williams, Jr. is not an ESPN employee, we recognize that he is closely linked to our company through the open to Monday Night Football. We are extremely disappointed with his comments, and as a result we have decided to pull the open from tonight’s telecast.”

In reply Williams released this statement through his publicist, “Some of us have strong opinions and are often misunderstood. My analogy was extreme — but it was to make a point. I was simply trying to explain how stupid it seemed to me — how ludicrous that pairing was. They’re polar opposites and it made no sense. They don’t see eye-to-eye and never will. I have always respected the office of the president.”

Apparent Williams has stated that he’ll run as a Republican for the U.S. Senate in the 2012 elections. LOL YEA OK. Homie isn’t getting a vote from me!

Dont get me wrong, everybody’s entitled to their own opinion, but comparing the President of our country to one of the worst human beings in the history of this planet is unacceptable. I’m just happy ESPN did the right thing and got home skillet up out of there.

WHAT DO YOU THINK?
