We’re asking you to be a part of our team to help raise money for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. 1230AM WDBZ The Buzz will be hosting our St. Jude Radiothon all day long on Friday, April 1st from 6AM-7PM, but we’re also pitching in to do our part all across Radio One. That’s right, 101.1 The Wiz & MOJO 100.3 have joined forces with our sister station 1230AM WDBZ The Buzz to make today a special day and a special weekend.
We’re looking for Angels like you to help raise awareness and money for sickle cell research and pediatric cancer for St. Jude Research Hospital. The call in number to make a donation is 1-800-411-9898.
The hospital reports that daily operating costs are $1.4 million, most of which is funded through contributions. Out of the contributions, 84 percent of every dollar supports research and treatment. So that’s where you come in.
Our listeners helped us raise $12,000 in 2009 and $24,000 in 2010. Together, can we double that number this year? Yes, of course we can! So donate now!
