As it get’s closer to Kim Kardashian’s music being released, R&B star Keri Hilson was recently asked about the reality star’s new goals in the music business. Despite not being totally convinced that it will work, Hilson says that Kim K should follow her heart.
“I haven’t [followed the story] at all, actually, I thought it was rumor,” Keri told SOHH about Kardashian’s attempt at the music industry. “How do we know it’s true? But hey, I think we’re all entitled to follow our dreams. And if that’s part of her dream, then go for it. You know? I wouldn’t resent anybody for trying something new and you never know what could happen. [Kim] could discover that she has a new passion.” (SOHH)
Previously we reported that Kim K confessed the final push to make music was by none other than Kanye West.
“‘OK, I’m not a singer, this isn’t what I do. I have too much other stuff going on. Is this really something safe for me to do?’ “ Kim recalled. “And Kanye was actually one of the people who really talked me into doing it and telling me, like, ‘Hey, look, what do you guys do for fun? You guys go shopping, you go to the movies. Kind of step into our world for a second and have fun, and we go to the studio.’” (MTV)
Kim Ks first single has already have a music video shot for it. It was shot by Hype Williams in LA and even has Kanye in the video and is rumored to be produced and featuring Kanye West. The rest of Kims album is being produced by The Dream.
