Naturi Naughton, of “Notorious” fame, has been cast in the lead role of NBC’s new drama series, “Playboy.” The show will center around the Playboy Club in Chicago, 1963.
Naughton will play Brenda, a stunning “Bunny” determined to become the first black Playboy centerfold.
The show may be an hour long and will also take an in-depth look at “America’s mores and the coming sexual revolution,” Variety reports.
Interestingly enough, she also played a 1960s Black Playboy bunny in the “Hands and Knees” episode of AMC’s “Mad Men” last year. SOURCE
