Last night marked the annual Texas Rocks On Holiday Bash hosted by The Recording Academy Texas Chapter. Grammy-winner Gilbert Velasquez, Paul Wall and legendary bassist Chuck Rainey all showed their support and enthusiasm at the industry event.

The year-end celebration, hosted by chapter President Paul Wall and Executive Director Theresa Jenkins, was an opportunity for Grammy members to reconnect, mingle and celebrate as a unit for the last time in 2010.

After his performance (alongside famed Hip-Hop jeweler TV Johnny/ Johnny Dang), a slim and trim Paul Wall sat down for an exclusive interview, revealing details of his life as 19 year old rap star going platinum and, at 29,  having to fall in love with his craft all over again.  He also spoke with us about his future, a potential career in acting, his admiration for rock drummer/ entrepreneur Travis Barker and brief encounter with Matthew McConaughey’s “naked bongos.”
