Chris Brown has made his fair share of mistakes in the past. He’s done a lot of dumb things, and he’s repeatedly had to cover his behind with lawyers and publicists. But it’s starting to feel like people are trying to take advantage of the 27-year-old’s reputation.

On Friday, July 1, it was reported that Brown and a group of friends totally trashed the Ibiza rental property they stayed in.

As reported by TMZ: According to the police report his crew either threw knives at the wall or carved them up. The landlord says someone peed the bed and there was vomit everywhere. The police were involved because Chris was supposed to be out hours ago and wouldn’t leave, so the landlord got police to help give him the boot.

The landlord says Chris is also on the hook for $26k in rent, and with damages the landlord is now gunning for around $60k. A source close to Chris says the rent issue has been resolved, and was a banking problem on the landlord’s end.

There’s just one problem: Brown has video proof that the property is in good condition.

“If y’all see some bulls**t on TMZ saying, ‘Oh, Chris Brown and them trashed the house, they left it dirty.’ That’s the landlord trying to get some money,” he says in the video that shows a perfectly clean kitchen and living area.

While we’re not sure if this is the exact place in question, it does seem like he’s being accused of things more and more these days.

The week before Brown’s former manager Michael M. Guirguis filed a lawsuit for a “(drug-fueled) rage” that resulted in “shutting Mike G alone into a room with him and brutally attacking him — punching him four times in the face and neck.”

And Suge Knight is suing the “Loyal” singer and the owners of the popular 1Oak L.A. nightclub for allegedly being responsible a shooting at the 2014 MTV Video Music Awards pre-party hosted by the singer— due to failure to provide adequate security.

In both cases, he’s refuted the charges.

So either Chris Brown is having the worst, most tumultuous year ever or people are lying and taking advantage of him. Either way, it sucks.
