Jimmy Fallon is a bit of a klutz. He somehow managed to nearly sever his ring finger after tripping on a rug last summer. This weekend he injured his hand by doing what’s typically a risk-free activity: Accepting an award.
Fallon was being awarded the Elmer Award for Excellence in Humor by Harvard University when he tripped and fell as he was holding a bottle of Jaegermeister. As a result, he had to make a trip to the hospital after cutting his hand. One dude even caught the accident on video.
But Fallon didn’t nearlt lose a finger this time. He posted an Instagram with a captions saying, “Nothing that a few band aids couldn’t fix.” Let’s see if he could make it to the end of the year in one piece.
