There’s only one direction you should always strive to go in life and that’s up. It’s so easy to say that you want to succeed, but it’s a whole different ball game when you let your actions do the talking. Rather than simply gush about his slew of bangers, K.Camp has allowed his resume to do the showboating for him.

His songwriting prowess has opened innumerable doors for him. From “Money Baby,” to “Cut Her Off,” to “Blessings,” to even his new single, “Comfortable,” Camp has developed a nice niche in the game as a potential hit-maker. The plush sounding banger that is “Comfortable,” showcases his ability to woo your favorite girl in a variety of ways. He could sing to her. He could drop a few poignant lines to lure her over. He’s the quintessential package.

So far, the newly named XXL Freshman is making his hometown of Atlanta proud and will only continue to draw smiles from his city after he releases his debut album, Only Way Is Up, this Friday, (Sept. 4). K.Camp sat down with us to discuss his favorite verse from his new album Only Way Is Up, his top five favorite Atlanta albums, the day he learned he would be a XXL Freshman, and more. Check it out above.
