The man accused of firing several shots at Lil Wayne’s tour bus on a metro Atlanta highway has been arrested. Jimmy Carlton Winfrey, 25, of Atlanta, had a warrant out for his arrest on numerous charges including making terroristic threats and being a member of a criminal gang involved in criminal activity.

The shooting occurred around 3 am on I-285 near I-75 after a Lil Wayne performance at Compound. As we previously reported, Winfrey—who police say was trying to gain status within the Blood gang by “committing a high profile shooting of a rival rap artist”—used to be the road manager of Lil Wayne’s current rap enemy: Young Thug.

According to the AJC, Winfrey was booked into the Cobb County jail just after 2 a.m. Tuesday. He’s being held without bond on multiple felony counts that also included aggravated assault, criminal damage to property and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. He’s also been charged with two misdemeanors: reckless conduct and discharging a firearm on or near a public highway.

Thugger and Wayne have been going at it over the past few weeks, primarily regarding the title of Thug’s most recent project. Originally titled Carter 6, Thug was forced to change the name to Barter 6 because he was reportedly threatened with a lawsuit, most likely from Weezy F Baby himself. The shooting then came just two weeks afterwards.
