Karrine Steffans Shares Lil Wayne’s Texts About Christina Milian

Karrine Steffans and Christina Milian have been going through a bit of back and forth lately, with Karrine seemingly throwing shade at the “Say I” singer last week, though she denied this in a recent VladTV exclusive. Milian, on the other hand, directly references Steffans in her shot back, saying no man has ever claimed her the way she and Wayne claim each other.

Steffans is responding via Instagram once more, sharing a text message presumably between herself and the man in the middle of all of this, Lil Wayne. In the text, Wayne says he can’t believe Milian would say such things about Steffans, and proceeds to apologize on Milian’s behalf, saying he thanks Karrine for being a lady while Milian didn’t behave as such.

August Alsina Gets in Backstage Brawl With Concert Promoter

R&B star August Alsina has never heard of the phrase “Don’t kick a man while he’s down” … because that’s exactly what he tried to do during a brawl after a show to promote non-violence. Whoops.

The show was called State Of Emergency 2 and it went down Saturday night at Chaifetz Arena in St. Louis. Proceeds from the show went to the Put Down the Pistol program.

According to our sources, Alsina got into it backstage with the show’s promoter, Loose Cannon Slim, after Slim got upset at Alsina for showing up late. Words were exchanged and it seemed as if it would stop there … until the punches started flying.

The video is crazy — you can see Alsina go after Slim, who got knocked to the ground. One of Alsina’s people quickly pulled him off … while Fabolous watched from a distance — holding his drink. Watch the video of the fight below via TMZ’s Youtube page.

Whitney Houston’s Estate Criticizes Lifetime For Movie On Singer

Whitney Houston‘s family says the singer’s fans should “brace themselves for the worst” if they watch Lifetime’s television movie about the late singer that premieres Saturday.

Pat Houston, president of the singer’s estate and her sister-in-law, issued a critical statement about the movie on Houston’s website on the eve of the movie’s airing. She said the movie was done without the family’s blessing and against the wishes of her mother.

“If you watch this movie, watch it knowing that Lifetime is notorious for making bad biopics of deceased celebrities and brace yourself for the worst,” Pat Houston wrote.

She said she didn’t think it entered the minds of anyone involved with the project that “what lifts up one person in the headlines may in fact destroy another.”

A Lifetime representative said Saturday the network had no comment.

The movie was directed by Oscar-nominated actress Angela Bassett, identified only in the statement as “a woman who claimed to be (Whitney Houston’s) friend.” Pat Houston wrote that “misrepresenting the term friendship to advance an agenda is not only disrespectful and dishonest but a slap in the face to her true and loyal friends.”

“You should expect people will always rise to the occasion for prominence and profit — not love, respect or honor,” she wrote. “I question the morality of the making of this because of the lack of experience knowing Whitney’s life.”

It’s not clear who, if anyone, in Houston’s family saw the movie in advance, and the statement had no specific observations on the film, where Yaya DaCosta portrays the late singer. The statement said “selected members” of the family were denied an advance copy.

LHHH’s Moniece Slaughter Confirms Relationship With Rich Dollaz

According to Vlad TV, it looks like the Love & Hip Hop franchise may have spawned a brand new couple in Lil Fizz’s ex and son’s mother Moniece Slaughter and Rich Dollaz of Love & Hip Hop: New York.

Moniece recently took a little beach getaway tagging Dollaz in the beautiful photo, claiming to be on a couple’s retreat. A DM between Slaughter and a friend also hit the net, with Moniece questioning why Rich Dollaz’s rumored love interest Jhonni Blaze is still worried about him. The latest confirmation comes from Slaughter dropping a comment on one of Rich’s IG posts, with one fan catching it in congratulating Moniece on the new relationship. She then shot back with a kissy face emoji.
