The world of comedy is mourning the death of Taylor Negron, a veteran comedian and actor who died over the weekend after his long battle with cancer.

According to Deadline, the comedian’s family confirmed the news via YouTube as his cousin informed viewers that Negron was surrounded by his mother and family members when he passed.

“I want to inform you that my cousin Taylor Negron just passed away,” Chuck Negron said. “His mother, his brother Alex, my brother Rene, and his wife were all there with him. May he rest in peace. I just wanted all you people who knew him and loved him to know that he just passed.”

Negron was known for his roles in Fast Times At Ridgemont High, and 90’s favorites like Stuart Little, Angels In The Outfield and The Last Boy Scout. He was also a guest fixture on many shows like My Wife & Kids, The Hughleys, The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, That’s So Raven, Seinfeld and many more. Aside from his acting, Negron was still active on the stand-up market and recently released his first solo exhibit called “Snow Paintings.”
