Less than a month ago, Kelly Rowland was experiencing one of her proudest moments in her life with the birth of her baby boy, Titan. Sadly, as we approach one of the happiest holidays of the year, she is now experiencing one of the lowest parts of her life. Early Tuesday morning, it was reported that the former Destiny’s Child member mother her passed.
In a statement released to The Insider With Yahoo, Kelly Rowland confirmed that her mother Doris had passed and is asking everyone to respect her privacy during this time.
“It is with deep sadness that I announce the passing of my mother. She was an incredible soul who made countless sacrifices so that I could become the woman — and now mother — I am today. We humbly appreciate all the love and support and only ask for privacy during this difficult time.”
