New York rap mogul 50 Cent has turned his focus back to music after charting new territory for himself in the realm of acting. For his first song in a while, 50 Cent has also returned to kicking ass and taking names afterwards. 50 Cent announced his return to music with the new track called “This Is Murder Not Music.” The song sends warning shots to other rappers seeking to do better than the boy from Southside Jamaica Queens.

Released on New Year’s Day, 50 Cent let these popular rappers know that everything they’re doing has already been done. 50 spits, “I had your style 10 years ago, I just didn’t use it/ You ni**as forgot how I do it/ Well I do it like there’s nothing to it.”

With a renewed focus on his music, 50 Cent is set to drop a new project this year entitled “Animal: An Untamed Desire To Win.” The rapper tweeted that the new material was going to shake up the world, so we had better get ready.
