The Colorado woman who attacked her boyfriend when he refused to stop singing Macklemore’s “Thrift Shop” is the subject of an arrest warrant issued after she failed to comply with probation terms imposed as part of a plea deal, according to court records.
Samantha Malson, 24, was arrested in April for harassment and domestic violence following a drunken confrontation with her boyfriend Lars Hansen.
According to a Longmont Police Department report, Malson, a certified nursing assistant, told cops that she and Hansen, 26, had been “fighting all evening over the fact that Hansen accused Malson of consuming all the alcohol in the house.” At one point, Malson “began to listen to Macklemore’s song ‘Thrift Shop,’ which Hansen was singing while laying on the couch.”
