So we might have needed him to come speak to the Bengals last week but hey…he’s a busy man. Lol. The mogul Dr. Dre turned out to be a key contributor to the University of Southern California’s football team after they pulled off a stunning win against local rival Stanford Saturday (November 16) night. “He’s someone who grew up not too far away from this campus–only a few miles away. This is the one and only DR. DRE.” The USC football players who were in attendance in that room were probably expecting some famous alumnus rather than the famed producer. So the team was understandably surprised when Dr. Dre came waltzing into the room after C. L. Max Nikias the school’s president, introduced him. Dre didn’t say anything all that inspirational other than the standard “I’ve been a longtime fan of this team” and “Good Luck.” Still, this is greatness in the flesh here. And yes, the producer still looks pretty big even beside college football players. Lane Kiffin is probably at home shaking his fist at the video going, “Where were you when I needed you?!” (Complex)
