The media recently attacked Jay- Z after Barney Department store racially profiled Trayvon Christian and Kayla Phillips while shopping in there mall. Jay- Z responded and said he wanted to gain more information about the investigation before fully addressing his holiday partnership that would benefit the Shawn Carter foundation. A full investigation has already started. As Mr. Carter awaits the courts findings, he’s agreed to move forward with the launch of BNY CCC collection as long as he has a leadership role and a seat on the council that handles the racial profiling issues. Mr. Carter says that 100% of sales will now go toward his foundation.
