How long do you really need to nap? To me it depends on what I’m doing for the day/night.

Taking a nap, we’ve seen time and again, is like rebooting your brain. But napping may be as much of an art as it is a science. The Wall Street Journal offers recommendations for planning your perfect nap, including how long to nap.

*10-20 min- This power nap is ideal for alertness and energy.

*30 min- This nap may cause groggy and sluggish feeling

*60 min- This nap helps remembers facts, faces, and names.

*90 min- Full Cycle of sleep
