According to various sources, a record executive named Freeband Double D, who was associated with rapper Future and Young Scooter was shot and killed in his Maybach yesterday in Atlanta.
Several sites, including the Atlanta Journal Constitution, are reporting that a white SUV pulled alongside his Maybach on I-20 and opened fire. He was transported to the hospital and later died, according to Mekka Parish of the DeKalb County Police Department.
While police have not officially identified the victim, rapper Future of the Freeband Gang managed one somber tweet acknowledging the news: ”My muphuckin Dog.”
