Beyonce is known for her incredible singing voice and live shows. However, yesterday on one of the world’s biggest stages she lip-synched her way through “The Star-Bangled Banner.” Beyonce was performing at President Obama’s inauguration when she decided to use a pre-recorded studio version of the National Anthem according to the New York Post.
“All music is pre-recorded for the ceremony because there are so many eventualities and conditions that day,” Kristin DuBois, a rep for the U.S. Marine Corp Band told the Post. “We performed, live, the band. But we received last-minute word that Beyonce was going to use the pre-recorded vocal track. Those were the instructions we were given. We don’t know what the (sic) reason why.”
