Today was a big day for the urban community in the City of Cincinnati. The National Action Network headed by The Rev Al Sharpton, launched there Cincinnati Chapter with hopes of helping the black community stand together in times of need, and to stand up and Act on problems that effect the black commiunity in the city of cincinnati.

National Action Network is one of the leading civil rights organizations in the Nation, with chapters throughout the U.S. Founded in 1991 by Reverend Al Sharpton, NAN works within the spirit and tradition of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. to promote a modern civil rights agenda that includes the fight for one standard of justice, decency and equal opportunities for all people regardless of race, religion, national origin, and gender.

The Cincinnati Chapter of N.A.N is headed by Bishop Bobby Hilton (President). Today The Rev Al Sharpton came to Cincinnati to help launch the Cities own chapter. Along side the help of State Rep Alicia Reese, Sedrick Denson, Pastor Harvey, Steave Reese, and many more of the cities leaders all where sworn into office of the Cities chapter today at The Word of Deliverence Baptist Church.
