André 3000 sat down with Fuse TV and talked about working with Frank Ocean and not exactly working on a new OutKast album.
On working on Frank Ocean’s debut album, channel ORANGE:
“He said, ‘I just want you to tell a story. Honestly, I don’t care what it is, just tell a story. When I got the track ['Pink Matter'], I just started writing to it. I’m just happy to be a part of that whole movement and his whole movement because he has become a whole ‘nother kind of icon in today’s age. I was just happy to be a part of that album.”
As for whether or not there will be another OutKast album:
“We don’t know what the future will be. There could be, I just can’t say right now. If we decide to do something, you’ll know about it. The Internet is such a misinformation age right now. There’s so much bad stuff that you don’t even know what to believe, so don’t believe anything about OutKast on the Internet until we say it.”
