According to HelloBeautiful.com Queen Latifah’s cup runneth over. The rapper turned actress, turned television mogul has yet another hat to place atop her perfectly coiffed tresses. The Covergirl’s new show, “The Queen Latifah Show” has been picked up by CBS and will air on 16 of their owned and operated stations in the fall of 2013.

According to Deadline.com, “‘The Queen Latifah Show’ will feature celebrity interviews, human interest stories, comedy, pop culture and musical performances. It is expected to showcase Queen Latifah’s talents, blending comedy and music into her hosting duties.”

In a partnership with SONY TV, as well as Will and Jada Pinkett Smith, Queen’s show is a rarity for CBS. The network typically uses shoes from their own distribution like, “Judge Judy,” “Dr. Phil” and “The Doctors,” to name a few.

Queen Latifah is no stranger to breaking ground, so her new venture will be a familiar part to her overwhelming journey as an entertainer. She’s done the talk show host thing before, back in 1999 and only lasted two seasons with the then, “Queen Latifah Show,” but the old cliche–if at first you don’t succeed–led Queen to try, try again.
