Walk Ahead for a Brain Tumor Cure

Today I participated in the 3rd annual Walk Ahead for Brain Tumor in finding a cure in Downtown Cincinnati along with survivors, caregivers, family members, brain tumor specialists and other caring members of our community.

In April 2012, my cousin Jamie Isome (semi pro football player #44) passed away from a Brain Tumor. Its VERY important to know your status when it comes to your health!

Taking Part in Research

Cancer research has led to real progress in the detection and treatment of brain tumors. Continuing research offers hope that in the future even more people with brain tumors will be treated successfully.

Doctors are trying to find better ways to care for adults and children with brain tumors. They are testing new drugs and combining drugs with radiation therapy. They are also studying how drugs may reduce the side effects of treatment.

Rather its brain cancer, skin cancer, breast cancer, any cancer its important to pay VERY close attention to your body and signs it may give. Get checked regularly! KNOW YOUR HEALTH!
