The upcoming BET Hip Hop Awards awards may have a fairly epic surprise in store.

Sources familiar with the situation have told Complex that 50 Cent and Fat Joe will share the stage at Saturday evening’s taping of the show during a tribute performance to the late founder of Violator management—and a trusted advisor of both artists—Chris Lighty.

The tribute will also feature Violator acts Busta Rhymes and Missy Elliott performing a medley of their hits. BET’s Vice President of Communications Tracy McGraw refused to confirm the details of Complex’s report. When asked if BET could deny the same thing, McGraw explained: “That’s a good question. I think we’ll just go with ‘Could not confirm.'”

Fat Joe and 50 Cent have a storied rivalry, and 50 recently said Lighty’s death would not sway him to end the beef with Fat Joe.

“Nah. You know what I think? A lot of times it’s people who choose not to like you,” Fif said on the Rickey Smiley Morning Show.
