Its National HIV testing day! It only takes a few minutes to find out your status anonymously. If you are positive, life goes on, help is available to you. If you are negative then continue to use condoms to protect yourself and your partner. One in five people are infected with this disease and don’t even know it. According to EastAtlantaPatch.com new infections continue to soar with approximately 50,000 African-Americans becoming infected with HIV every year. The Northern Kentucky Health Department is offering FREE HIV tests and so is the Kenton County Health Department from 1-4pm. Lead by example and break the stigma!
