Mary J. Blige has been booked to sing the national anthem at this year’s Kentucky Derby. In a statement released from Churchill Downs, Blige will sing “The Star-Spangled Banner” at the Louisville track on May 5th, shortly before the running of the 138th Kentucky Derby. I could be wrong but MJB seemed to have a hotter career when she had more had drama in her life.
