2011: The Summer Of Comic Book Movies?

If you’re a fan of comic books, then this is the summer to look forward to. You’ll be marking your calendars down for three big movies that are based from comic books.

Next month, mark your calendar for May 4th. “The Avengers”, based off the Marvel comic book, will feature a dream team of super-heroes. The movie stars Robert Downey Jr. as Iron Man. He, along with Captain America, The Hulk, Thor, Black Widow, and Hawkeye save the world from Loki and his army.

After the Avengers, you’ll want to save the date for July 4th. The “Amazing Spider-Man” stars Andrew Garfield, who will take over for Tobey Maguire as Peter Parker, the teen turned-superhero.
